Apr 29 2010I want to show you some pictures from fall last year, when I cleaned up my polystyrene tomato boxes. The tomato roots were still sticking out and keeping the compost together, when I lifted the grow bag:

What the h… is that growing in the bottom of the box?:

I mean, it was just before the snow came and the tomato plants wilted long ago:

But then I realized why I had to fill this box with water more often than the other 3 polystyrene boxes: They’re no match for bamboo
:
Argh.
